From 17 May to 19 May 2024
Every year, the Festejades bring together 50,000 people to take to the streets of Gruissan for three days of festivities.
At the heart of Occitan culture, this exceptionally convivial festival is typical of the warm atmosphere that reigns in the south of France.
Combining the discovery of local flavours and music, this event is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the region's traditions. Put on your marinières, the official dress code of the festejaïres, and head for the old village. The smell of local produce will show you the way.
Children can also enjoy the festival during the day. HAVE FUN WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY and take part in the FESTEJOCS, the first Olympics of the Festejades! L'écho de la granhota has put together a programme worthy of the forthcoming Paris Olympics.
As you go through the events, collect points and win the title of FESTEJOCS champions. Your little ones will love this challenge. It's a day full of excitement.
As in previous years, the association l'écho de la granhota will be waiting for you at its bodega on rue Azibert, where you'll be able to enjoy a range of activities including a giant treasure hunt, a make-up workshop and a balétis.
