The Olympic Flame comes to Narbonnne

The Aude will see the Olympic Flame pass? The flame will be carried from Gruissan to Carcassonne by 100 torchbearers, including celebrities such as Olivia Ruiz and Gérard Bertrand, and sports stars such as Béatrice Fabre (Ultra-treil) and Isabelle Poursine (Table Tennis).

As well as being a sporting event, the passage of the Olympic flame will be the occasion for a huge public celebration throughout the Aude region. A multitude of demonstrations and other sporting and cultural events will be taking place throughout the day, the fruit of the mobilisation of Aude's sporting and cultural associations. In each of the towns crossed by the race, there will be a range of activities on offer, both before and on the day itself.
